Fire purifies. Fire renews. But, at the same time, fire hides. The unique event of this summer was the renewal of female destinies in an ancestral spectacle. I witnessed creations and creators who, after completing their works of art, burned them in a symbolic pyre of rebirth. I was left with a visual memory charged with the ever-increasing flames and the message sent to all women in the world: be yourself in front of everyone!
I conceived this allegorical painting of a burning woman, thinking of all those who have not yet burned the evils of their lives.
