Over the days and nights before Christmas I have the feeling that a fairy-tale veil is falling. Everyone we know dresses up and makes up in such a way as not to be recognized by others, as in a role play that aspires us to be unseen and unheard characters.
This year I was Princess Avalonia and everyone was blown away when I showed up dressed in nothing but strips of black latex. 🙂
