In the spirit of eternal beauty, I decided to begin a year of dedicating my work to the symbol of Aphrodite, to reconnect with the absolute: body, mind, spirit, and heart. My humble apartment in the middle of a small town will become my fortress, my refuge and retreat from the world; my own temple of the goddess of love. When I paint, love, or dream, will I not stop wondering “what would Aphrodite do”? And all I can imagine is that she will rise as a guide of enlightenment.
