Tolerance has come to be seen more as a discursive pattern of the political world than a de facto reality of the world in which we live. That is why there is a zero moment when all people must look at each other with empathy, honesty and curiosity – in order to understand the cultural differences between us, but at the same time to be able to discern future common actions.
I chose Zendaya in this artistic manifesto, a young African woman as a contemporary jewel of the Nile, to dissect the black spectrum into a multitude of color slides and understand our common root. The imprint of the human being is universal.
